"We, the staff members of AGU Department of Psychology, are deeply saddened by hearing the news that our beloved mentor Prof Umur Talaslı passed away on 6th November 2022. We find it very difficult to accept and cannot find enough words to describe our sadness. We joined his lectures with great enthusiasm, and we have always felt his invaluable effect both on our lives and on how we understand and practise our profession since then. With his deep insight, understanding, and transfer of psychology, we have always felt very lucky to be his students and colleagues. We will always remember him with great love and deepest respect and go on transferring what we have learned from him and admired about him to the next generations."
