"EU-Turkey Youth Climate Forum" has been taken place on Wednesday, 1st of December, in Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, with the collaboration of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, and Abdullah Gül University. The forum have been moderated by Prof. Dr Burak Asıliskender, the chair of the department of architecture.
Dr Ahmet Çoymak, has also given a speech named "Climate Change-Migration-Justice and Rights" and has come together with young people. Besides, one of our dearest students, Eylem Helin Metin, the Turkish Psychology Students Working Group (TPÖÇG) representative on behalf of our department, has also participated in the forum and has experienced the workshop "Climate Change-Migration-Justice and Rights" led by Dr Ahmet Çoymak. We congratulate Dr Ahmet Çoymak for his speech and workshop and our dearest student Eylem Helin Metin's interest and motivation for the forum.
The fundamental aim of the forum was to create a platform where young people raise some questions and share their opinions on steps decision-makers should take about the climate crisis. Thanks to "Thematic Forums" and "Workshops", young people were expected to gain insights about different themes on the climate crisis and share their thoughts with stakeholders.
