In the 2020-2021 list of the URAP (University Rankings by Academic Performance) Research Laboratory showing national universities' academic performance, Abdullah Gül University (AGU) was placed 4th among the universities established after 2000.
The URAP Research Laboratory, which evaluates academic performance of Turkish universities based on various criteria under the roof of METU Informatics Institute, published its 2020-2021 university rankings.
In the rankings, universities are evaluated in 9 categories including article and citation counts, scientific documents, number of doctoral graduates and number of students per academic. AGU was placed 4th among the universities established after 2000, and thus became the 4th best university of Turkey in this category.
Compared to last year, AGU also kept its 4th place in the category of the universities with less than 6000 students.
166 universities with undergraduate graduates were included in the URAP Turkey rankings and data provided by Clarivate Analytics/InCites, which shows academic performance of research institutions, and the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) were used.
