Dr. Mehmet Akif Guzel has joined to the AGU Psychology

Dr. Mehmet Akif Guzel has joined our department as a faculty!

Dr. Guzel received his B.Sc. in psychology from Middle East Technical University (METU; 2005). He got his M.Sc. degree from METU (2007) in clinical psychology  and his Ph.D. degree in cognitive psychology from the University of Southampton, England (2012). His research interests include metacognition, retrieval processes, experimental psychopathology; also, cognitive factors in eating behaviour and metacognitive processes in mathematics education among elementary school students. After an outstanding academic experience in several universities, he recently joined our department.

We warmly welcome him and wish him productive years in AGU Psychology family.
